i tried to forget you.
but you grew roots around my ribcage
and sprouted flowers
just below my collarbones.
i spend all day plucking at their petals.
but i have not yet accertained if you and i love
in exactly the same way.
i believe in love. i believe in second chances and silly bands and making myself happy, because no one else ever will.
